WINDEMERE RANCH MIDDLE SCHOOL EDUCATION FUND

Address: 11611 East Branch Parkway, San Ramon, CA 94582
WRMS EF EIN: 04-3815491

Welcome to Windemere Ranch Middle School!

Windemere Ranch Middle School (WRMS) is one of the top-performing middle schools in Contra Costa County and in the top 1% statewide. Our academic success is largely due to the collaboration and vision of our administrators, staff, and families. Many parents have demanding schedules that make it difficult for them to volunteer. However, EVERY parent may support the Education Fund. Some families, especially those new to the school, may not be aware of what the Education Fund is and why it is so important.

There are three organizations on campus run by parent volunteers: School Site Council, WRMS PTSA, and the WRMS Education Fund. Each has a very unique and important role.

The Windemere Ranch Middle School Education Fund, an affiliate of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF; EIN: 94-2853998), works to maintain and enhance the quality of education at Windemere Ranch Middle School. Community support of the WRMS Education Fund directly contributed to WRMS being recognized as a California Distinguished School in 2019 and a National Blue Ribbon School in 2022.

Public education funding is highly complex. The funding we receive as a public school is not enough to maintain the level of excellence in education that we want and demand for our children. The San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) receives amongst the lowest funding per student of unified school districts in the State of California. It is important to note that property taxes are not the main source of funding for CA schools. To learn more, visit Ed100.org.

Your generous donations to the WRMS Education Fund have a direct impact on your child’s middle school education and experience at WRMS. In order to maintain the academic standards that WRMS is known for, we need your support. Our donation goal is $275,000 so that we may provide the following for the 2024-25 academic year:

  • Reduce class size through funding of additional course sections
  • Maintain MTSS for crucial student and classroom support
  • Investment in technology refresh and software to enhance learning environments
  • After school homework club to support ALL students
  • After school tutoring and SEL activities
  • Sections for more elective offerings

Donations: Donate to WRMS Education Fund (Tax ID: 04-3815491). You may donate online OR drop off a check to the front office. Checks should be payable to WRMS Education Fund.

Suggested donation amount: $495 per student OR $895 per family
